By Royal Order, the “Prince Salman bin Hamad Medical Merit” to be presented to 15,811 frontline healthcare professionals and supporting staff
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, extended his gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's Royal Order to present the “Prince Salman bin Hamad Medical Merit” to 15,811 front-line healthcare professionals and supporting staff, in appreciation of their tireless efforts and honourable sacrifices in combatting the COVID-19 and preserving public health. 

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister directed all concerned entities to present the medal to frontline healthcare professionals and supporting staff, including those working in the Bahrain Defence Force, the Ministry of Interior, and other government entities.
His Royal Highness stressed that the Royal Order reflects HM the King’s continued support to the Kingdom’s frontline workers and affiliates, and HM the King’s appreciation for the important roles they play in safeguarding public health in light of the unprecedented circumstances presented by the COVID-19 global pandemic.

His Royal Highness reiterated Team Bahrain’s determination to continue carrying the responsibility of safeguarding public health, by turning challenges into opportunities, and contributing to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.  

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister concluded by expressing his gratitude to all frontline healthcare professionals and supporting staff, who have placed the Kingdom’s interests, including public health, as an utmost priority.
