The Prime Minister’s Office marks Bahraini Woman's day
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) today hosted a gathering to mark Bahraini Woman's day, held annually on 1 December, at Gudaibiya Palace.

Commenting on the occasion, the Director-General of the PMO, Hamad bin Yaqoob Al Mahmeed, highlighted His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s unwavering support of Bahraini women and commended their contributions to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.

Al Mahmeed noted the government’s commitment, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to supporting Bahraini women. In this regard, Al Mahmeed emphasised the wide-ranging achievements of the Kingdom's women.

Al Mahmeed emphasised the efforts of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) led by, Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of HM the King and President of the SCW, to promote women’s achievements regionally and internationally.

Al Mahmeed extended his congratulations to the female employees of the PMO, adding that they are an integral part of Team Bahrain and noting their service to the Kingdom and its citizens.

For their part, the female employees of the PMO extended their gratitude to the Director-General and the PMO for hosting the event and offering continuous support.
